I piccoli borghi rustici italiani mi hanno sempre affascinato forse perché mi trasmettono quello che nelle città non sento e cioè il senso di serenità, semplicità, genuinità, la bellezza di stare all’aria aperta incontaminata, il vivere sano e semplice, fresco, pratico quasi primitivo. ecco probabilmente l’insieme di queste percezioni mi hanno ispirato a creare i quadri di semplici casette, forme pulite senza tante scomposizioni e variazioni di forma, viste minimali ed essenziali che semplicemente possano trasmettere proprio quel senso di casa pocanzi descritto.
